Starting DE Ryan Pickett is the most prominent name on the Packers' inactive list for the Week Eight game against the Jets. In addition to Pickett, who continues to battle an ankle injury that forced him out of Green Bay’s Week Seven victory over the Vikings early in the first quarter, the other inactive players are: CB Brandon Underwood, RB Dimitri Nance, LB Diyral Briggs, OT Mark Tauscher, OL Marshall Newhouse, OG Nick McDonald and FB Quinn Johnson.

The way we see it

With Pickett sidelined, the Packers will be hoping that rookie C.J. Wilson can pick up the slack in a starting role. Wilson had a strong outing last week after Pickett left the game. Tauscher, who will be missing his fourth straight game due to a shoulder injury, might have an increasingly difficult time regaining the starting ORT job from rookie Bryan Bulaga.
