Saints RB Reggie Bush was cleared to return to practice last Monday. Now it looks like he may not return until Week 11.

Bush fractured his fibula in Week Two but was never healthy enough to practice this week. He did conditioning work and is hopeful for Week Nine. But ProFootballTalk.com reported that Bush's fibula is healing slower than expected and that he could be out until Week 11, when the Saints host the Seahawks.

Bush fractured his fibula on a punt return. The Saints are 2-3 since his injury. Starting RB Pierre Thomas has also been out, and undrafted rookie Chris Ivory has handled the workload.

The way we see it

This is a big setback for Bush, who thought earlier in the week that he could return to the field on Sunday. The Saints have looked completely out of sorts without a consistent rushing attack.

Fantasy spin

Ivory's fantasy value remains high with this news that he could continue being the featured back for a few more games.
