Rams WR Danario Alexander suffered a left knee injury in Friday's practice and will miss 2-4 weeks.
Alexander, a rookie out of Missouri, was active for the first time in Week Six and had four receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown. He had just one catch for six yards in Week Seven.
PFW correspondent Jim Thomas reported it's the same knee Alexander has had surgery on four times previously.
The way we see it
Alexander had a big day in his first NFL game but returned to earth last Sunday against the Bucs. With WRs Donnie Avery and Michael Clayton out for the season, Alexander was brought up to the active squad to help the depth. This will mean more looks for Danny Amendola, Brandon Gibson and Laurent Robinson.
