Take a quick stroll down memory lane with PFW for a recap of the Bears' Week Eight contests each of the last five seasons:
2009: A pair of rushing touchdowns by Bears RB Matt Forté pushed Chicago past the Browns, 30-6. Bears WR Devin Hester had a game-high seven catches, matching the number of receptions the Browns made in the game. CB Charles Tillman took an interception back 21 yards for a TD with 3:14 left in the fourth quarter.
2008: On bye.
2007: Bears QB Brian Griese tossed four interceptions in a 16-7 loss to the Lions. Chicago's lone score came on a third-quarter touchdown pass from Griese to TE Greg Olsen, who had six catches in the game. The Bears had four sacks in the contest, three of which came from defensive lineman.
2006: Bears QB Rex Grossman threw three touchdown passes in Chicago's 41-10 trouncing of the 49ers. The Bears racked up points early, getting all 41 in the first half. Grossman found Desmond Clark twice for scores, and the tight end finished with six catches for 86 yards. RB Thomas Jones added another score on the ground, rushing for 111 yards on 23 attempts.
2005: Tillman returned an overtime interception 22 yards for a TD to lead Chicago to a 19-13 victory. The Bears scored 13 points in the first half, with their one TD coming on a 23-yard pass from QB Kyle Orton to WR Muhsin Muhammad, but they were shutout after the break.
