The Chargers signed WR Gary Banks from the team's practice squad on Saturday. They released OT Adam Terry.

Banks spent the entire 2008 and '09 seasons on the Chargers' practice squad. After being waived at the end of training camp, Banks was re-signed to the practice squad. He had joined the team as an undrafted free agent out of Troy.

Terry is a sixth-year veteran who has played in two games this season.

The way we see it

With WRs Malcom Floyd and Legedu Naanee doubtful because of injuries and WR Buster Davis questionable, the Chargers are seriously hurting at the WR spot. Banks knows the system well with two-plus years of experience on the team's practice squad.
