2009: QB Derek Anderson scored the Browns' lone touchdown on a one-yard rush in the third quarter of a 30-6 loss at Chicago. Anderson, who was benched late in the game in favor of Brady Quinn, was just 6-of-17 for 76 yards. RB Jamal Lewis rushed for 69 yards on 16 carries for Cleveland (1-7).
2008: A pair of fourth-quarter field goals from PK Phil Dawson sent the Browns (3-4) past the host Jaguars 23-17. Anderson found WR Donte' Stallworth for a three-yard TD in the first quarter, and Lewis found paydirt on a two-yard rush in the second quarter. Browns NT Shaun Rogers had a big game, notching notching tackles, three QB hits and a sack. He also blocked a field goal.
2007: The vistiting Browns kept the Rams (0-8) winless with a 27-20 victory in St. Louis. The game was tied 17-17 at the half, but Anderson found WR Braylon Edwards for a five-yard touchdown pass to give Cleveland (4-3) the lead for good with 8:44 left in the third quarter. Anderson completed 18-of-25 with 248 yards and three touchdowns, two of which went to Edwards, who caught eight passes for 117 yards.
2006: RB Reuben Droughns rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown on 33 carries in the Browns' 20-13 victory vs. the Jets. Droughns gave Cleveland (2-5) the lead with his two-yard score in the second quarter, and QB Charlie Frye hooked up with TE Kellen Winslow for a 30-yard TD pass early in the third quarter to give Cleveland a 17-3 advantage. Browns S Sean Jones had a pair of interceptions.
2005: The Browns and Texans combined to make seven field goals, but host Houston hit one more in their 19-16 defeat of Cleveland. The victory was the Texans' first of the season and one of only two wins overall for Houston, which would pick first overall in the 2006 draft. Cleveland's lone touchdown came on an eight-yard pass from QB Trent Dilfer to TE Aaron Shea in the first quarter. Browns WR Antonio Bryant caught four passes for 98 yards. The loss was the Browns' third straight after a 2-2 start.
