A Ravens pass defense that allowed only 119.0 net passing yards per contest in its first four games, allowed an average of 316.0 net passing yards in the team's final three games before the bye. The secondary collectively faltered vs. the Bills, surrendering 374 yards to an unheralded passing attack. CB Fabian Washington, beaten for three TDs by Bills WR Lee Evans, was benched in favor of Josh Wilson, but we hear Washington is expected to retain his starting role. Washington's consistency has left a little to be desired at times in his three-year Baltimore career, but he has had a good season overall, we're told. The Ravens' pass rush, with the team on pace for the fewest sacks in club history, is also under scrutiny. The club's lack of a consistent rush threats is a concern: Baltimore has a combined 9½ sacks from DT Haloti Ngata, OLB Terrell Suggs and MLB Ray Lewis and 2½ from everyone else.
