Vikings QB Brett Favre didn't have a regularly scheduled media session Thursday, but he did stop briefly to say that anything was possible when it came to playing Sunday.

"I wouldn't put anything past me to be honest with you," Favre told Minneapolis Star-Tribune writer Judd Zulgad during the Vikings' open-locker session.

Favre has two fractures in his foot, leaving his status for Sunday's game against the Patriots in New England in serious doubt. Although he was seen walking without the boot he had been wearing since the fractures were diagnosed, Favre said he would continue to wear it through the week.

Favre's chance of playing Sunday seriously diminishes if he is unable to practice Friday. Backup Tarvaris Jackson would get the start in Favre's place. The future Hall of Famer currently has a streak of consecutive games played at 292 right now.
