The Bengals announced Thursday that the NFL has given the team an extra 24 hours in order to sell the remaining 2,000 tickets in order to prevent a local TV blackout of the Bengals-Dolphins game Sunday.

Games normally must be sold out 72 hours prior to kickoff in order to lift the local TV blackout, but the deadline for this week has been shortened to 48 hours, giving the Bengals until 1 p.m. ET Friday.

The Bengals have sold out 55 consecutive regular-season and postseason games, a franchise-record streak.
