The Patriots were missing S Patrick Chung, S Jarrad Page, WR Matthew Slater, NT Vince Wilfork and RB Fred Taylor at Wednesday's practice, according to PFW correspondent Ian Rapoport.

Page (calf) missed Sunday's win over the Chargers after moving up on the depth chart to be the No. 3 safety. Chung left the game with a knee injury. Taylor has not played since Week Three and Wilfork is likely taking a day off.

The way we see it

Reports indicate that Chung avoided a serious injury and should be ready to go when the Pats take on the Vikings on Sunday. He has had a great season, making impact plays on defense and special teams. Undrafted rookie Sergio Brown stepped up at safety when Chung went down with Page's injury. Slater is a special-teams contributor.
