The Broncos head to London on Thursday and might not be joined by rookie CB Perrish Cox.

Cox, who started in the Broncos' 59-14 loss to the Raiders on Sunday, suffered a concussion. He left the game in the third quarter and couldn't recall any of the details from the game.

"It's up in the air. That's the best way to describe the whole thing. Just have to make sure we make a smart choice whether to travel him or not," said head coach Josh McDaniels.

Jeff Legwold of The Denver Post also reported that McDaniels did not expect S Darcel McBath (foot), LB Robert Ayers (foot) and LB Wesley Woodyard (hamstring) to travel to London.

S Brian Dawkins (knee) returned to practice Tuesday and will likely travel.

The way we see it

Cox has been a sparkplug for the Broncos all season. The rookie did a serviceable job of replacing injured CB Andre Goodman (quadriceps) in the starting line-up four of the past five weeks, but Denver should be OK if both Goodman and Dawkins return to action.

Fellow rookie CB Syd'Quan Thompson will continue to see action in Cox's absence.
