The Seahawks elevated FB Quinton Ganther to the active roster on Tuesday and placed RB Chris Henry and OT Breno Giacomini on their practice squad.
Ganther, a fifth-year veteran, played in eight games with four starts in 2009 for the Redskins and had three rushing TDs. He started for Seattle in Week Two this season but did not have a carry. The Seahawks released him Sept. 28.
The way we see it
Ganther was the fullback earlier this season before being replaced by Michael Robinson. Ganther can play FB or RB so he brings some versatility. Robinson did get dinged up in the Seahawks' win over the Cardinals on Sunday.
