Bengals CB Adam Jones will miss the remainder of the 2010 season with a disc injury in his neck.

Jones scored a TD in Sunday's loss to the Falcons when he ripped the ball away from Falcons WR Roddy White and took the ball back the other way for six.

In six games this season, Jones (formerly known as "Pacman") had six tackles, three passes defensed, an interception and a forced fumble. This was his first season since 2008.

The Bengals also waived TE Daniel Coats and re-signed TE J.P. Foschi.

The way we see it

CB Morgan Trent moves up for Jones in the secondary and the Bengals have a lot of depth in the return game, but Jones was playing pretty well for a guy that was out of football in 2009. Foschi and Coats are both blocking guys, Jermaine Gresham is their pass-catching TE.
