Jaguars starting ORT Eben Britton is likely out for the season after suffering an injury to his shoulder in Sunday's loss to the Chiefs.

According to Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Herald, Britton will have an MRI Monday and the injury could be a torn labrum. Britton got X-Rays after the game and wore a sling.

Backup OT Jordan Black, a sixth-year veteran, replaced Britton.

The way we see it

Britton started 15 games in his rookie season in 2009. Losing him for the year would be a blow to a Jaguars offensive line. RB Maurice Jones-Drew has just one 100-yard rushing game this season.
