Michael Vick will return to the starting lineup in Week Nine following the Eagles' bye week, according to head coach Andy Reid.

Vick has missed the last three-and-a-half games after suffering a rib cartilage injury in the team's Week Four game vs. the Redskins. Kevin Kolb had stepped in and played well the past three weeks, but threw a pair of interceptions and lost a fumble on the Titans' three-yard line in the team's Week Seven loss to Tennessee.

The way we see it

While the Donovan McNabb trade and Kolb's elevation to starter was the story of the offseason, the Vick-Kolb saga has become the story of the regular season. It is no surprise to see Reid go with Vick, who was dynamic in his two games as starter before hurting himself on a long scramble in the loss to Washington. The question is, how long can No. 7 remain healthy and on the field?
