Patriots SS Patrick Chung has left the game with a knee injury. His return is questionable.

Chung left Sunday's game against the Chargers early in the second quarter. Chung is second on the team with 47 tackles this season. The second-year player has a blocked punt and field goal as well.

Backup S Jarrad Page is out with a calf injury. The Patriots signed S Sergio Brown from their practice squad on Saturday.

The way we see it

The Patriots could use Chung back in the game to help defend the Chargers' potent passing attack that has already found success today. The safety position is extremely thin. James Sanders and Brandon Meriweather are the top two safeties with Brown being the only other active safety on the roster.
