The Buccaneers will be without TE Jerramy Stevens for Sunday's game against the Rams after he was arrested on multiple drug charges Saturday night.

According to reports, Stevens was arrested for possession of cannabis with intent to sell, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Possession of cannabis with intent to sell and possession of cannabis are both felonies, while the drug paraphernalia charge is a misdemeanor.

The Tampa Tribune posted a statement from Bucs spokesperson Jonathan Grella: "We're deeply disappointed by this news. We take such matters seriously. Obviously, Jerramy Stevens will not be participating today. We will address this matter with the seriousness it deserves, but in the meantime, we're focused on the Rams game."

Stevens, a ninth-year veteran, has three catches for 43 yards as the Bucs' second TE behind Kellen Winslow. His best season came in 2005 in Seattle, when he had 554 yards receiving and five TDs in 12 starts.

The way we see it

Stevens will certainly be hearing from the league about this and could see jail time. Veteran John Gilmore will be the No. 2 TE with Stevens gone.
