Redskins CB Rogers not ducking hands question

The lasting image of the Redskins' loss to the Colts in Week Six was the team's missed opportunities, more specifically in the form of dropped interceptions. FS Kareem Moore had one golden chance. CB Carlos Rogers had two. This is nothing new for Rogers, who at times has played at a very high level as a cover man but who is held back by his stone hands. Rogers has been the best of the team's corners this season, but his dropped picks — especially against an elite QB such as Peyton Manning — are a problem and probably always will be. He has spent time in the past catching passes after practice, adjusting his technique, etc., but nothing has seemed to work. DeAngelo Hall appears to have the opposite problem: He's adept at getting his hands on interceptions, but much of the time he is burned because of bad coverage or sloppy technique. Phillip Buchanon has played better than Hall in recent games and is starting to see more time each week.
