Raiders QB Jason Campbell's status for Sunday's game against the Broncos will be decided just before game time, head coach Tom Cable said on Friday.
Campbell injured his left knee in last Sunday's loss to the 49ers. Campbell was starting in place of QB Bruce Gradkowski, who is suffering from an injured right shoulder. Cable said Gradkowski is "very questionable."
Third-string QB Kyle Boller will start if Campbell can't go.
The way we see it
Campbell has been a major disappointment since being acquired in the offseason. With the opportunity to win back the starting job, Campbell was just 8-for-21 passing for 83 yards and two picks against the Niners. Boller has yet to regain his form from 2004 when he started all 16 games for a 9-7 Ravens team. He started four games for the Rams in 2009 throwing three TDs and six INTs.
