Ravens RB Willis McGahee didn't play a single offensive snap in Week Six, but it appears his total lack of work vs. the Patriots is not a sign of things to come. Head coach John Harbaugh explained that McGahee failing to play at New England was a function of Ray Rice's play, the plays they were calling for Rice, the matchup vs. the Patriots and the FieldTurf surface at Gillette Stadium. When asked if McGahee had run afoul of any team rules or policies, Harbaugh said: "Willis has been great. Willis is 100 percent on top of everything (and) has been working really hard. He's been tremendous." Harbaugh noted that "you'll see plenty of Willis as we go forward." In McGahee's first five games of the season, he had 40 carries and three catches (8.6 touches per game). He had 7.8 touches per game in 2009. He still seems likely to be next in line for carries behind Rice, with FB Le'Ron McClain an option primarily in short-yardage situations, the way we hear it.
