One interesting note from the Patriots' practice report on Wednesday was that WR Julian Edelman did not participate and is officially listed on the report as having a concussion.

Edelman was drilled by Ravens MLB Ray Lewis and others at the goal line on an incomplete pass early in the fourth quarter. On the next play, Tom Brady hit Deion Branch for a touchdown that sparked the team's rally in a 23-20 overtime victory.

He is subject to the NFL's updated concussion policy and will be evaluated by the team's medical staff and an independent doctor via a series of tests. He will not be able to return to action until he's cleared by all medical personnel.
