For a team that has had trouble establishing cohesiveness due to nonstop turnover at a number of positions, we hear the Seahawks couldn't be happier over the instantly apparent chemistry between RBs Marshawn Lynch and Justin Forsett. Word is the former teammates at Cal, who are also close buddies off the field, are genuinely ecstatic about the complementary parts they are being asked to play in Seattle's revamped backfield. "Forsett told me how delighted he was to have Marshawn here," one team insider said. "They both know exactly what's expected of them." In theory, Lynch is the big bruiser on first and second down that Pete Carroll long had been looking for, with Forsett providing a nifty change of pace, running draws and catching screens on third downs. Another overlooked aspect of Forsett's game, we're told, has been his stellar blitz pickup despite his smallish stature.
