Colts president Bill Polian released a statement on Wednesday announcing that P Pat McAfee has been suspended for one game after McAfee's arrest early Wednesday morning for public intoxication.

"After verifying the relevant facts, we today have suspended Pat McAfee for one game for conduct detrimental to the club. The suspension will take effect on Monday, Oct. 25 and will run through the Houston game on Monday, Nov. 1. We will have no further comment at this time."

The way we see it

The news of McAfee's suspension comes as no surprise, considering the Colts' reputation for taking a stern approach when it comes to disciplining players. Expect to see the Colts sign a punter off the street in the coming days to handle punting duties against the Texans in Week Eight.
