The Jaguars re-signed veteran QB Todd Bouman on Tuesday after QBs David Garrard and Trent Edwards suffered injuries in Monday night's loss to the Titans.
Garrard left the game with a concussion in the second quarter. Edwards, the backup, injured his right thumb but played the rest of the game.
Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said on his radio show that "there's a strong possibility we won't have either guy" during Wednesday's practice.
The Jaguars released Bouman on Oct. 5 after signing Edwards. On Tuesday they released S Gerald Alexander to make room for Bouman.
The way we see it
After back-to-back wins over the Colts and Bills, the Jaguars mustered just three points against the Titans and have yet to show any consistency at the QB position. Bouman, 38, has not played in a regular-season game since 2005, when he started three games for the Saints.
