The Indianapolis Star reports the Colts have cut WR-RS Kenny Moore, who fumbled twice in the team's Week Six win over the Redskins. Moore did not have a reception on the season, but returned five kickoffs and six punts in his two games with the team. He averaged 20.4 yards per kickoff return and 6.0 yards on punts.

The team has signed RB Andre Brown, who was recently cut by the Broncos, to the 53-man roster.

The way we see it

This roster move shows the value of protecting the ball. Moore's time in Indianapolis was not long, as he was signed on Oct. 5 and released just two weeks later. Brown should contribute on kick and punt returns, as well as provide depth behind a banged-up group of Colts running backs.
