The NFL's trade deadline passed at 4 p.m. ET with just one trade occurring.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the Chiefs traded former third-round pick DE Alex Magee to the Buccaneers for a 2011 draft pick.
The players involved in trade rumors were Redskins DT Albert Haynesworth, Patriots OG Logan Mankins, Cowboys RB Tashard Choice and Chargers WR Vincent Jackson.
Haynesworth, who was inactive in Sunday night's game against the Colts, has made it clear he wants out of Washington and its new 3-4 defense. Mankins has been holding out for a contract extension, but reports surfaced this morning that the Patriots' asking price was too high. He is expected to return to the team after Week 10.
Jackson, another contract holdout, was rumored earlier in the season to have been on his way to the Vikings, but the Chargers' asking price was apparently too high. Choice is the odd man out at running back for the Cowboys, and the Packers are in need of help in the ground game with Ryan Grant out for the year.
The league's high-profile trades occurred well before the deadine, with WR Randy Moss, WR Deion Branch, RB Laurence Maroney and RB Marshawn Lynch among those being traded.
