DE Charles Grant's stint with the Bears ended after two weeks. Chicago released the ninth-year veteran on Tuesday, according to reports.

Grant, who played for the UFL's Omaha Nighthawks earlier this season, did not suit up in either of the Bears' last two games. He was released by the Dolphins after the preseason prior to his time in the UFL.

The way we see it

The Bears' coaching staff is apparently gaining confidence in rookie DE Corey Wootton, who has played in each of the last two games after being a healthy scratch for the first four contests.
