Titans QB Vince Young injured his knee midway through the first quarter of the Titans-Jaguars Monday-night game at EverBank Field. The Titans said Young had sprained his knee and was questionable to return.

The injury occurred as Young was bent backward while recovering a fumbled snap. Although he appeared to be in pain, Young walked off the field under his own power. Trainers fit him with a knee brace on the sideline.

Young had staked the Titans to an early 7-0 lead with a 23-yard TD pass to WR Kenny Britt.

Kerry Collins replaced Young and directed the Titans on a 37-yard scoring drive for a 14-0 lead. The drive was set up by FS Michael Griffin's interception of a David Garrard pass, and it culminated in a two-yard TD pass from Collins to TE Bo Scaife.
