The Chargers likely will be without WR Malcom Floyd (hamstring) and PK Nate Kaeding (groin) for Sunday's Week Seven game against the Patriots.

Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune reported the Chargers do not expect Floyd and Kaeding to play, but are "hopeful" that TE Antonio Gates (toe) will be recovered and ready to play.

WR Legedu Naanee did not play in the Chargers' loss Sunday to the Rams.

The way we see it

The preseason AFC West favorites find themselves at 2-4 after a shocking loss to the Rams on Sunday. Yet, they have the league's top offense and defense. QB Philip Rivers would love to have as many weapons as possible available to pick apart the Patriots' young secondary.

Fantasy Spin

Rivers is still a definite start in most leagues, even if his best weapons won't be available. He shouldn't find too many problems throwing against the Patriots' defense. WR Patrick Crayton had a big day on Sunday and could be Rivers' top target with Floyd out.
