Head coach Andy Reid said it would be a "real stretch" for WR DeSean Jackson to play in Week Seven and that Kevin Kolb will likely start at quarterback vs. the Titans.

Reid spoke to reporters on Monday and said Jackson had soreness in his neck and shoulders. Jackson left the game after a violent helmet-to-helmet hit from Falcons CB Dunta Robinson that left the receiver with a concussion. Jackson had scored both of the Eagles' TDs before the hit.

QB Michael Vick has not fully recovered from his injured rib cartilage suffered two weeks ago. Reid did not completely rule out Vick, but said, "there's a pretty good chance" Kolb will start again. In the Eagles' win over the Falcons on Sunday, Kolb was 23-of-29 passing for 326 yards and three TDs.

The way we see it

The hit placed on Jackson was a violent one and the NFL took notice to the multiple helmet-to-helmet hits from Sunday's games. It's no surprise that he likely will not play on Sunday. WR Jeremy Maclin picked up the slack with two receiving TDs in Jackson's absence.

Reid is known for not starting players that don't practice during the week, and it looks like Vick will not practice again leading up to Week Seven. Kolb was superb in the Eagles' win on Sunday, but Reid will likely have Vick return to the starting position when he's healthy.

Fantasy Spin

Jackson's fantasy owners should look for a receiving replacement for Sunday. If you want to stay with Philly, WR Jason Avant had five catches for 62 yards against the Falcons. Kolb is a must start in fantasy with Vick still out against a weak Titans defense.
