Redskins TE Chris Cooley will see a specialist after suffering a concussion in Sunday night's 27-24 loss to the Colts.
TE Fred Davis told Comcast SportsNet that Cooley took a helmet-to-helmet hit while running a route.
"When he came to the sideline, you could just tell he was a little bit drowsy, couldn't see out of his left eye a little bit for a second," Davis said.
Head coach Mike Shanahan said Cooley will be evaluated over the next couple days.
Cooley, a two-time Pro Bowler, left the game in the third quarter.
The way we see it
Cooley has been QB Donovan McNabb's favorite target alongside WR Santana Moss. Without many weapons at wide receiver, McNabb and the Redskins could suffer if Cooley is out for an extended period of time.
