PK Shayne Graham did his job, subbing in as a last-minute replacement kicker and hitting all four of his point-after tries. His services are not needed in New York anymore.

The Giants released Graham on Monday after being rewarded OT Jamon Meredith off waivers from the Lions. The Giants signed Graham on Saturday after PK Lawrence Tynes sprained his left ankle in practice on Friday.

Graham made four PATs in the Giants' 28-20 win over the Lions on Sunday. Tynes is expected to kick in the Giants' Monday-night game in Week Seven against the Cowboys.

Meredith had four starts in 2009 with the Bills. He played in the first two games this season with Buffalo before being claimed off waivers by the Lions.
