Cowboys starting LG Kyle Kosier will miss games for the second time this season, this time because of a strained right Achilles tendon.

Kosier will miss 2-3 weeks after suffering the injury in the first half of Sunday's loss to the Vikings. Montrae Holland replaced Kosier and will likely start in Week Seven's Monday night game against the Giants.

Kosier missed the season opener after spraining his MCL in training camp.

The way we see it

The line has been a mess most of the season, unable to finish most of the games without at least one guy going down. Kosier, when he has been hurt the past few seasons, has been surprisingly hard to replace though. He's a lunch-pail guy who doesn't make many mistakes and is a decent run blocker. Holland is solid, but not spectacular.
