Buccaneers backup RB Kareem Huggins will miss the rest of the 2010 season after tearing the ACL in his right knee against the Saints in Week Six.
Head coach Raheem Morris announced Monday that Huggins will be done for the year.
The Bucs, whose running game is 27th in the league, were hoping Huggins could provide a spark behind starter Cadillac Williams.
The way we see it
Huggins had just 11 yards on four carries this season — a stat line representative of the Bucs' poor running game. Backup RBs LeGarrette Blount and Kregg Lumpkin now will be called upon to help Williams gain yards on the ground.
