DeSean Jackson has a "severe concussion" with memory loss following a helmet-to-helmet hit with Falcons CB Dunta Robinson, according to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer.
The hit occurred in the second quarter of Sunday's Week Six game. The Eagles won 31-17 and Jackson had scored two TDs before the hit.
Robinson was flagged for hitting a defenseless receiver. Both players lay on the field before being helped off.
The way we see it
The hit was a scary sight on a day of multiple helmet-to-helmet collisions around the NFL. In a season where concussions are being handled more carefully, the violent hits continue. Jackson's prognosis is a disturbing one for him, the Eagles and the rest of the league.
