Here are notes on the third quarter of Browns-Steelers from a Cleveland perspective.

Third-quarter score: Steelers 14, Browns 3

Positives: Browns rookie QB Colt McCoy has played well in his debut, especially when he's had time in the pocket. McCoy's feel for the game is evident, and he's been accurate in his first NFL start. ... P Reggie Hodges is having a very good game and pinned the Steelers at their four-yard line with another outstanding punt.

Negatives: The Steelers drove 96 yards on just five plays after beginning at their four-yard line with 5:12 left in the quarter. The Browns' pass defense remains a concern, surrendering passes of 50 and 35 yards on the drive. WR Hines Ward scored an eight-yard TD after breaking an Eric Wright tackle attempt.

Outlook: The Steelers' offense has been just a little too explosive, and the Browns' defense has surrendered a few too many big plays to this point.
