Browns RS-WR Joshua Cribbs is out for the game after suffering a head injury against the Steelers, the Browns said.

Cribbs left the game after sustaining a helmet-to-helmet hit from Steelers ROLB James Harrison with a little more than nine minutes left in the second quarter. Cribbs had taken a direct snap from center and was scrambling when he was hit by Harrison.

Cribbs had three rushes for two yards and one kickoff return for 26 yards in the game.

The way we see it

The loss of Cribbs limits the Browns' options on offense, as the Browns had used the "Flash" package, in which he takes the direct snap, four times before he left the game. It also hurts the Browns' special teams, as he is one of the game's top returners. Chansi Stuckey will replace Cribbs on returns.
