The Jets will not make a decision on CB Darrelle Revis' status until game time on Sunday, a league source told Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.
Revis, who has been bothered by a strained hamstring since Week Two, is listed as questionable. He missed Weeks Three and Four but played on Monday night in Week Five against the Vikings. He complained about soreness and swelling following the game.
The way we see it
The Jets' defense has played well without Revis as CB Antonio Cromartie has stepped up against opponents' top receivers. But the defense is clearly better with Revis, as rookie CB Kyle Wilson has been targeted often by opposing QBs with some success. Keep in mind, though, that Revis seemed visibly slowed by the hamstring late in the Vikings game. With the Broncos likely to air it out a lot as they have all season, the Jets would prefer to have Revis in the secondary.
