Here's a key matchup to watch in the Week Six game between the Patriots and Ravens:
Patriots CBs Devin McCourty and Kyle Arrington vs. Ravens WRs Anquan Boldin and Derrick Mason
In addition to Patriot-killer RB Ray Rice, QB Joe Flacco has two pretty good weapons to utilize against a young, maligned Patriots secondary. The Pats rank 28th in the league in pass defense, allowing 272.2 passing yards a game. While they shut down Bengals WRs Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco in the first half of their Week One meeting, the corners have not had much luck this season.
McCourty, a rookie, is a physical corner and has been the most consistent player in the Pats' secondary. He will likely cover Boldin when possible because of his size, but that's a tall task for the rookie, who was beaten for two TDs against the Jets.
Arrington, who has improved mightily since replacing Darius Butler as the starting corner, had a nice play against the Bills when he prevented a Lee Evans touchdown.
Boldin is 28-363-3 receiving this year, while Mason has turned it on of late, going 16-209-1 this year. The Pats will probably try to force Flacco to throw underneath, as they did against the Dolphins, but McCourty and Arrington will have tough tasks on Sunday.
