NFL commissioner Roger Goodell told NBC's Alex Flanagan on Saturday that the NFL will interview Vikings QB Brett Favre this week in regard to allegations that Favre sent inappropriate messages to former Jets employee Jenn Sterger when he was a member of the Jets.

Peter King said that the meeting will take place Tuesday with Milt Ahlerich, the NFL's vice president of security. Flanagan interviewed Goodell at the Notre Dame-Western Michigan game Saturday afternoon.

The Vikings and Favre likely want this to be over with sooner than later. King went on to say that Sterger has yet to say anything to the NFL, so they want to learn all the facts from Favre, who has yet to deny any of the allegations. This has been a big distraction for a 1-3 Vikings team.
