Here's a look at a key matchup heading into Sunday's Week Six battle between the Seahawks and Bears.
Seahawks KR Leon Washington and PR Golden Tate vs. Bears' kickoff and punt coverage
The Seahawks' special teams has been solid all-around this season. Seattle KR Leon Washington could be the player highly respected Bears special-teams coordinator Dave Toub is most concerned about this week, however.
Washington is ranked first in kick-return average (40.4) and has shown that the broken leg he suffered last season hasn't made him any less dangerous. Eight of his 10 kickoff returns have been for 20 yards or more and he returned two kickoffs for touchdowns (101, 99 yards) against the Chargers in a Week Three victory.
The Bears' kickoff coverage unit has done a solid job this season, allowing just 23.2 yards per return. Still, this is a week where some Robbie Gould kickoffs that land deep in the endzone or sail past the endzone would come in handy.
The Seahawks also have a capable punt returner in rookie Golden Tate, who is averaging 18 yards per return. P Brad Maynard has to avoid making the mistake he did in Week Two, when his line-drive punt helped set up Cowboys rookie Dez Bryant's 62-yard return for a touchdown.
