Patriots FS Jarrad Page has played sparingly this season after being acquired from the Chiefs on Sept. 4. The fifth-year veteran has plenty of game experience, having started all 16 games in 2007 and '08, but it takes time to learn the Belichick defense. The way we hear it, Page has done all the right things to pick up the new defense by staying late and going to extra meetings. Page's primary task is to fill the role of the injured Brandon McGowan, whose main job was to stick to opposing tight ends. After S Patrick Chung blocked a Dolphins field-goal attempt in Week Four, Page instinctively batted the ball in the air so CB Kyle Arrington could grab it and take it to the house. Page also hauled in his first pick as a Patriot and the 11th of his career. Once he has the system down pat, expect the ball-hawking safety to see increased playing time.
