While the Chiefs were hoping that this would finally be the season WR Dwayne Bowe became a go-to guy, it instead has been a rookie who has emerged as the top target for QB Matt Cassel. TE Tony Moeaki, the 93rd-overall pick in the 2010 draft, has caught everything thrown his way thus far, making spectacular grabs and displaying extremely sticky hands. The Iowa product has led Kansas City in receptions in all four games this season, and his 16-173-2 receiving are all team highs. From what we hear, Cassel trusts Moeaki more than any of his other receivers at this point, especially after Bowe let him down by dropping critical passes at Indianapolis. Moeaki already has garnered comparisons to Tony Gonzalez, high praise for someone just weeks into his pro career. The only thing standing between him and a prolific first year is health, as injuries were a thorn in his side throughout his collegiate career.
