Former Eagles OL Woody Peoples died Tuesday evening at the age of 67, the team announced Thursday.

Peoples played in 168 career NFL games with the Eagles and 49ers from 1968-80. He was a two-time Pro Bowler with the 49ers and started at guard for the Eagles in Super Bowl XV.

Originally signed by the 49ers as a free agent from Grambling State, Peoples played one season of semi-pro football and spent two years in the Army before joining the 49ers.
