The Colts have ruled out LB Kavell Conner (foot) and S Bob Sanders (biceps tendon) for Sunday's game against the Redskins. WR Anthony Gonzalez has returned to practice and "will progress his rehabilitation to on-field work."
Conner last played in Week Three against the Broncos. He has two starts this season. Sanders suffered his injury in Week One, and the Colts are still holding out hope he will return.
Gonzalez, who played in just one game in 2009, also has been out since the season opener.
The way we see it
You have to wonder how much longer Sanders remains on the roster before heading to the injured reserve list, as the safety position is incredibly thin. Gonzalez's return is a good sign, though. While QB Peyton Manning has plenty of weapons, WR Pierre Garcon has been dinged up and Gonzalez provides another weapon.
