Here's a sampling of quotes from a conference call with Patriots head coach Bill Belichick, director of player personnel Nick Caserio and LB coach Matt Patricia. All quotes are taken from transcripts provided by the Patriots.

Belichick on if he watched the NFL during his bye week: "This particular weekend, I really didn't do much of that. Tried to catch up on some stuff with the family and kids. Watch them play."

Belichick on Fred Taylor's health: "We'll see how it goes. He's definitely doing better. We'll see what happens tomorrow when we go out there, get everybody loosened up. … We'll just take it day by day."

Belichick on the CBS report that Tom Brady and Randy Moss had an altercation before the Moss trade: "That's news to me."

Belichick on Ravens WR Anquan Boldin: "They move him around quite a bit. He plays some in the slot, but not always. … He had two, maybe three of those against Cleveland where he just went up and got the ball. Big, strong kid. He's definitely made some plays for them."

Caserio on if rookie WR Taylor Price is ready to be active: "We'll see. He's making some progress. We like Taylor. He's got a good skill set. He's big, he's physical, he has good hands. … There's a lot more components that come into play for him. Number one because he's a rookie. Number two, the offense that we are using is a little bit different than he used in college."

Patricia on rookie OLB Jermaine Cunningham's skill set: "I think Jermaine has a wide range of skills that we're looking for at that position. I think he has a good body type for the position. I think he's got a good combination of power and some speed and quickness."
