Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels ruled five players out for Sunday's Week Six game against the Jets. FS Brian Dawkins (knee), CB Andre Goodman (thigh), LB Wesley Woodyard (hamstring), FS Darcel McBath (ankle) and OLB Robert Ayers (undisclosed) will not play on Sunday.

McDaniels did not rule out rookie WR Demaryius Thomas, who left Sunday's Sunday's 31-17 loss to the Ravens with a head/neck injury after being hit returning a kick.

Dawkins and McBath suffered their injuries against the Ravens. Woodyard and Goodman had setbacks to previous injuries in their attempted returns.

The way we see it

The Broncos looked pretty bad against the Ravens on Sunday, and the extra cost to their loss is these injuries. Facing the Jets in Week Six, the Broncos could use all the defense they can get especially with the Jets getting WR Santonio Holmes back this week.
