Darrelle Revis was last seen on the field in Week Two, grabbing his hamstring a few yards behind Randy Moss as the then-Patriot hauled in a TD pass. After missing the second half of that game and the following two games, the Jets' All-Pro cornerback will return on Monday night to face Moss again.
Revis tweeted on Sunday that he will be playing in the big Week Five game vs. Moss' new team, the Vikings. He also expressed excitement in playing a certain former Jets quarterback.
"I'm playing against our former teammate Favre tomar (sic), going to be a battle!"
The way we see it
Revis was listed on the Jets' Saturday injury report as probable, and there were reports earlier in the week that his hamstring hadn't healed to 100 percent. Expect Antonio Cromartie to have the duties early on of guarding Moss, as the Jets wait to see how well Revis can move around. If he's at his best, they may try to exile the newest Viking to the 'Island.'
