Bengals CB Adam 'Pacman' Jones was arrested following Sunday's game vs. the Buccaneers, but was released without being charged after police realized Jones was not the suspect they were looking for.
According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, Jones was detained following an auto accident where the player drove his car onto a sidewalk to avoid a crash. Police questioned the player and he was handcuffed and arrested, due to an outstanding warrant for "Adam Jones." It was not until 45 minutes later that the police realized they had the wrong Adam Jones, and the Bengals player was released, with no charges filed in a case of mistaken identity.
Jones has a troubled history, with multiple arrests that led to his suspension from the NFL for the entire 2007 and part of the 2008 season. He was out of the league a year ago before being signed by Cincinnati in the offseason. In 2010, Jones has eight tackles and no interceptions.
