Take a quick stroll down memory lane with PFW for a recap of the Vikings' Week Five contests each of the last five seasons:

2009: The Vikings improved to 5-0 with a 38-10 trouncing of the Rams. QB Brett Favre was 18-of-24 passing and found TE Visanthe Shiancoe for his lone touchdown pass. RB Adrian Peterson rushed for only 63 yards on 14 carries but did find paydirt twice in the Minnesota victory.

2008: Trailing by a touchdown in the game's final minutes, the Vikings scored 10 points in a 30-27 come-from-behind win over the Saints. QB Gus Frerotte got the fourth-quarter scoring started with a 33-yard touchdown pass to WR Bernard Berrian to tie the game. The next Minnesota score, a 30-yard field goal by PK Ryan Longwell, sealed the deal for the Vikings.

2006: A 23-point fourth quarter led the Vikings past a winless Lions team in search of their first victory. A three-yard touchdown grab by WR Travis Taylor from QB Brad Johnson brought Minnesota within seven before LB Ben Leber returned a fumble for a touchdown. Although a blocked extra point meant Detroit would maintain a one-point lead, Longwell's 20-yard field goal gave the Vikings the lead. And they would hold off the Lions with a 45-yard interception return by LB E.J. Henderson in the final minutes of a 26-17 victory.
